Oh, what a year. And we love a good recap. So, let’s put a fun spin on it! I give you: The 12 Days of Real Estate Reflections
12- Amazing teammates! Some of the most intelligent, helpful people on the planet are the ones I get to work with every day. I’m so thankful for this group of people who are committed to our clients and to one another. We’re a work hard, play hard group of people who are wholly committed to our families, too.
11- Months of delivering meals to homebound Tippecanoe County residents for Food Finders Food Bank! Every other week I see the same 7 to 8 people when I deliver a box of food to their front door. I’m so thankful for a community with these types of resources.
10- Client events to see your faces and hear what’s happening in YOUR lives! Thank you for joining us for @ Loves Local, Earth Day, Purdue football tailgates, BrOktoberfest, Fall Fest at the West Lafayette Wellness Center, the Holiday Cabaret at Civic Theatre, and the endless Love Your Neighbor Basket pickups and dropoffs—just to name a few!
9- Open houses at amazing homes! Okay, anyone in the industry that reads this might think, WHAT? Only 9? Well, open houses aren’t actually my jam. We have amazing agents (see #12 above) who are much better at hosting these events than I am.
8- The average number of homes a Realtor sells per year. By God’s grace, I was able to close 63 units in 2024. Every single client entrusts me and my team to get them to the closing table, and I don’t take that lightly!
7- The number of first-time buyers I was able to help make the purchase of their first home. I absolutely love helping people understand the process of buying a home. Sitting with them at the closing table when they’re handed the keys is still exhilarating, even after 20 years!
6- Buyers who asked me to help them through their new construction project and closed on beautiful, brand-new homes, and/or the land they will be built upon!
5- Conferences and training events to help me grow in my skills and train other Realtors in growing theirs! I spent a decent amount of time in airports and hotel conference rooms this year!
4- Family members who deal with a wacky schedule, calls during road trips, and a wife and mom who simply does not have it all together. These four people are my big WHY and the only legacy on this earth that matters to me.
3- Homes that were sold to our buyers before being listed on the multiple listing service. That’s right, the sellers called us, and we had the perfect buyer! We got to play our favorite role: Ninja Matchmaker!
2- $1M+ sales. OK, this is a little boastful, but when the average sales price in your county is $324,868 (*according to IRMLS 12/13/24), then this is a big deal. To have the trust of buyers and sellers making this sort of financial decision is actually very humbling.
1- Insanely grateful, slightly exhausted, and incredibly hopeful Realtor. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for your confidence and trust with your real estate needs. Mostly, I’m grateful for your friendships and hugs along the way!

Re: #4 — you actually have it mostly together, which is incredibly admirable. We love you and I am so proud of you for the important work you do.

Thank you. Really couldn’t do any of it without YOU.
