Staycation? Need a quiet retreat, place to write, an escape from the normal? Check out this cute spot and then enjoy the peace and quiet. Bonus: Close to downtown for eating or hot coffee! This charming, 400-square-foot studio guest house is in a historic neighborhood in downtown Lafayette.
Even better, this studio space comes with a full kitchen. And a patio to sit outside in the beautiful yard and enjoy the goldfish pond.

If you’re feeling like spending some time down on the farm, this farmhouse is perfect. It’s just a short drive off of I-65 in Indianapolis. The home is on a 5-acre farm operated by Hotel Tango Artisan Distillery.
The home was built in the 1850s but has been remodeled to highlight its rustic charm. If you’re lucky, you may even get to see some action on the working farm while you’re there! There is plenty of space for hosting, both indoors and out.

Feeling adventurous? Not a “camper”? How about this escape in a yurt? It comes with electricity, hot water, and maybe enough cell service to send a text or two (your mileage may vary). However, you do have to use a wood stove for heat, so maybe it is camping after all. Stove, grill, pans, and utensils all provided for your dining pleasure. This gorgeous lake home on Lake freeman is a perfect getaway on the water. You don’t have to drive for hours to get there, either! Nearby attractions include the Madam Carol, Hollow Acres Mini Golf Center, the Lakeshore Drive-in, and it’s just around the corner from the sandbar
This retreat is newly remodeled with a large deck, covered patio, waterfall, firepit, and more. Inside, it has a large family room with a wet bar, and plenty of room for sleeping, including a large master bedroom with deck access.
