It\u2019s hot outside and the Tippecanoe County housing market is even hotter! Here are some recent stats for you:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Between April 1 and June 1, 2024:<\/strong>*<\/p>\n\n\n\n

403 properties were listed for sale on the IRMLS<\/p>\n\n\n\n

327 sold in that time period<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Between April 1 and June 1, 2023:<\/strong>*<\/p>\n\n\n\n

372 properties were listed for sale on the IRMLS<\/p>\n\n\n\n

343 sold in that time period<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, the good news if you\u2019re a homebuyer is that we\u2019re seeing a *slight<\/strong>* uptick (7.7%) in the inventory and a *slight<\/strong>* slowdown (4.7%) in home sales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are, of course, a variety of things that factor into these numbers, but the slightly higher (although still HISTORICALLY low) interest rates are probably the biggest snag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
