Folks, we have some really exciting news that we\u2019ve been busting at the seams to tell you. This change is something we\u2019ve carefully mulled over for a long time, and now it\u2019s official! As of April 4, we are part of @properties, a national brand that is known for innovation and its focus on building community and relationships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why @properties<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Russell Company has always focused on helping our agents become the best they can be and our relationships in the community. @properties is giving us the best technology and development resources in the industry while allowing us to keep the community culture, independent spirit, and local ownership that has characterized our company thus far. In fact, @properties has a company and a culture much like our own, but they are a life stage ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We see this as a huge opportunity to provide better service to our clients and differentiate ourselves from the competition. In short, it\u2019s the perfect way for us to level up in a way that benefits us and you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What will change<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Now, we know big changes like this can scare people, so let\u2019s address that right now. From our clients\u2019 view, things aren\u2019t going to look a whole lot different. Our signs will now include the @properties branding. You\u2019ll also see a new @properties sign to go with our Russell Company sign outside our office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But what\u2019s really going to change is the part of the business that is less visible to our clients (but has a big impact all the same). Independent brokerages like ours have to cobble together technology to make their businesses run. Some of it is better than others, and some of it isn\u2019t even designed specifically for real estate. @properties has developed a platform more advanced than anything else on the market. With the backing of a national brand that has invested heavily in technology specific to the needs of real estate agents<\/em>, we are going to be able to offer a much better, more modern experience to our customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, @properties has a coaching and training program with a full curriculum of career-development resources and a vast referral network that will enhance what our agents can do for their business and for all of our clients. We will have a lot more resources to help agents who are interested in getting into the biz as well as helping current agents grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019ve always felt that the Russell Company is more than just a brokerage. We are neighbors, volunteers, advocates, and friends who are passionate about advancing the Greater Lafayette area and its residents. Real estate has always been about more than just buying and selling homes for us. It\u2019s about investing in a community that returns what you put into it. We see this move as a win-win\u2014we get the backing of a national brand but keep the intimacy of a local brokerage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
