We have some fun events happening in the area in the next few months, so get out and enjoy the gorgeous weather!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Germanfest<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>September 9, 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>318 N 9th St, Lafayette<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Experience all that Germany has to offer at St. Boniface Church in Lafayette for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stbonifacegermanfest.org\/\">Germanfest<\/a>. The food, games, live music, and more will help us usher fall in with style! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Starry Night Festival<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>September 9, 7 p.m. to midnight<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>100 Northwestern Ave, West Lafayette<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Don&#8217;t miss the <a href=\"http:\/\/starrynightfestival.com\">Starry Night Festival<\/a>, one of the best street festivals in West Lafayette. This blend of music, crafts, storytelling, and food is basically all one could want in a fall event. The canopy of lights throughout the space adds just the cozy flair everyone craves in the fall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Global Fest<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>September 16, 3 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>222 N. Chauncy Ave, West Lafayette<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/GlobalFestWL\">Global Fest<\/a> is hosted by the city of West Lafayette, the International Center of West Lafayette, and Purdue Convocations. It features food, entertainment, and more from around the world and really highlight&#8217;s our community&#8217;s diversity. Bring the whole family\u2014admission is free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">BrOktoberfest<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>September 23\u201324<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Brokerage Brewing Company<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>2516 Covington Street, West Lafayette<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Don&#8217;t miss BrOktoberfest at Brokerage Brewing Company! It&#8217;s a blast with food trucks, live entertainment, special events, and fun for the entire family. Don&#8217;t miss the community coming together to celebrate FALL!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Art on the Wabash<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>September 24, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Tapawingo Park<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>100 Tapawingo Drive, West Lafayette<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We have so many talented artists in our Greater Lafayette community, and many of them are featured in <a href=\"https:\/\/artonthewabash.wordpress.com\/\">Art on the Wabash<\/a>, an open-air art gallery with food, music, children&#8217;s activities, and of course, ART!  Creative works are for sale, and awards will be handed out, as well. Park for free in the Wabash Landing parking garage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Feast of the Hunter\u2019s Moon<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>October 7 and 8<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>3129 S. River Road, West Lafayette<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I am SO excited that the <a href=\"http:\/\/feastofthehuntersmoon.org\/\">Feast of the Hunter\u2019s Moon<\/a> is back this year for its 56<sup>th<\/sup> year. If you haven\u2019t been to this epic fall event, make this the thing you do. The historic re-creation of the annual fall gathering of the French and Native Americans at Fort Ouiatenon (a fur-trading outpost in the mid-1700s), is so much fun! Think of it as a feast for all of your senses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Continuous programming is held on five stages at the fort, and they include music and dance, fife and drum corps performances, military drills and demonstrations, and games and contests. There are also hands-on activities like candle dipping, storytelling, bracelet making, tomahawk throwing, and more. There is truly something for everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fall Fest at Wea Creek Orchard<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Oct 15<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>5618 South 200 East, Lafayette<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There\u2019s nothing like celebrating fall at an orchard, and this is such an affordable event at only $5 per car for admission. The gorgeous <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weacreekorchard.com\/\">Wea Creek Orchard<\/a> is the perfect place to spend a late-October day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There will be u-pick pumpkins and apples, a kids\u2019 area, carnival games, and bounce houses, plus local vendors, food trucks, live music, and a lot more fall fun. Sounds like a perfect day on the farm!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fall Festival at West Lafayette Wellness Center<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Oct 27, 5 p.m to 8 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1101 Kalberer Road, West Lafayette<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The West Lafayette Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting its first annual fall festival! Even better, it\u2019s free, but <a href=\"https:\/\/secure.rec1.com\/IN\/west-lafayette-in-parks-and-recreation\/catalog\">registration is required<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event includes trails lined with games and trick-or-treating, bounce houses, and so much more. Local businesses will also decorate spaces, have games, and pass out treats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Exploration Acres<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Sept 17 to October 29<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>6042 Newcastle Rd, Lafayette<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s the quintessential spot in Lafayette for fall fun, so don\u2019t miss <a href=\"https:\/\/explorationacres.com\/\">Exploration Acres<\/a> this autumn season. It\u2019s most known for its epic corn maze (it\u2019s actually four mazes), which is 22 acres, 10 miles of paths, and rewards hidden throughout from local businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The pumpkin patch boasts 38 varieties that range from 1 to 200 pounds, so you can literally get whatever kind of pumpkin strikes your fancy. There are plenty of wagons that can get you (and your pumpkins) to and from the patch. There\u2019s nothing that screams fall like a hayride in an antique tractor. There\u2019s also a straw mound, sand pile, playset, pedal carts, tractor train, corn bin, tube slide, and more!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hillside Acres Family Farm Corn Maze<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Through October 30<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>9811 N County Road 600 W, Rossville<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you\u2019re trying to find the perfect fall outing for the family, check out <a href=\"https:\/\/hillsideacresfamilyfarm.com\/\">Hillside Acres<\/a>! This is the place to have a fall adventure because there\u2019s something for everybody on this beautiful property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">General admission includes entrance to Timber Town (pedal karts, tire mountain, 70-foot slides, corn hole, tetherball, and more), the u-pick pumpkin patch, a 7-acre corn maze, and a hayride. Don\u2019t forget to buy a cider slushie for a sweet treat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dulls Tree Farm Pumpkin Harvest<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>September 25 to October 31<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1765 W Blubaugh Avenue, Thorntown<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You may have been to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.simpletix.com\/e\/2023-dulls-pumpkin-harvest-tickets-139111\">Dulls Tree Farm<\/a> to pick out a Christmas tree, but if you haven\u2019t been during their fall season, you need to do it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Admission includes access to over 40 activities, and a coupon you can use for the Country Air Cannons or pumpkin decorating. Guests can purchase additional tickets for the cannons, pumpkin decorating, and pony rides.
